One of the most beautiful Christmas experiences I had several years ago was when my family and I went to see the Live Nativity and Garden of Lights at the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky, just on the other side of the Ohio Rive from Cincinnati. It's filled with life-like animals, exhibits and full sensory experiences that share the beautiful story of creation within the museum, and it provides a fun outdoor Christmas experience for kids and adults with a live petting zoo, the Nativity play and a gorgeous forest of Christmas lights!

Visitor Tips:
1. Check Traffic - Sometimes traffic can get stopped up with rush-hour or with the Christmas rush between Kentucky and Ohio.
2. Get Here Early - Try to plan your trip earlier in December because the lines get long closer to Christmas.
3. Carpool - If you're going to the Creation Museum and Christmas Town with multiple families, try to carpool. Parking fills up quickly.
4. Dress in Layers - The temperature can get very cold in Northern Kentucky. There’s a lot to do, both inside and out, so come prepared by wearing multiple layers.
5. Check out the Dragon Hall Bookstore - There are always special Christmas Town deals going on in the Dragon Hall Bookstore. These deals are sometimes limited to a certain number and only available on-site during Christmas Town evenings.
