The Leaf Letter Match is a fantastic way to make a fun craft and also make a learning game that your kids will enjoy! We found this craft on one of our favorite home craft websites (No Time For Flashcards) and wanted to share with you as a great Parent-Kid Fun home activity.
Here's what you need.
Materials:
- 26 clothes pins
- red, yellow and green felt leaves (Easy to find at the Dollar Store or Walmart)
- black permanent marker
Directions:
1. Write out each letter of the alphabet on each felt leaf varying the colors.
2. Write out each letter of the alphabet on each clothes pin.
3. Let you little one start with 5-10 leaves and clothes pins to see how they respond to the idea of matching and if it's easy or too difficult. Once they feel confident with their matching skills, then incorporate all 26 letters of the alphabet.
Happy Learning = Happy Kids!
