Rainy Days in Vegas? Go to the Natural History Museum

Believe it or not, it actually does rain in Las Vegas! Even though it may only rain, snow or be cold for a short period of time in Vegas, there are some spectacular kid-friendly activities that we want to share with you for the rainy or sunny days.
The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is one of those unknown gems located in the heart of old downtown Vegas and it has so much to see! We took our toddler there and he loved seeing all the animal exhibits, ocean exhibits, dinosaurs, hands-on play area and the King Tut exhibit.
Tickets: $10 per adult; $8 for seniors, military and students; $5 for children (3-11); FREE children (2 and younger)
Hours: Open daily 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.Open at 11:00 A.M. New Year's Day and EasterClosed Christmas and Thanksgiving Day
Location: 900 Las Vegas Blvd, North, Las Vegas, NV 89101Cross streets are Las Vegas Blvd. and Washington Ave. The Museum is adjacent to Cashman Center.
