The DISCOVERY Children's Museum, located in the heart of the old downtown Las Vegas, provides a hands-on vibrant and engaging experience through exhibits and programs where children participate in playful learning experiences to ignite a lifelong love for learning.

Exhibits: The Summit (3 Stories of Interactive Exhileration); Fantasy Festival (All the World's a Stage); Eco City (Sustainability Meets Eco-Friendly)

Hours: SUMMER HOURS (June 1 through Labor Day)Monday – Saturday: 10am – 5pmSunday: 12pm – 5pm

WINTER HOURS Tuesday – Friday: 9am – 4pmSaturday: 10am – 5pmSunday: 12pm – 5pmClosed Mondays except during select holidays.

The Museum is closed on the following days: Easter Thanksgiving Day Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Year’s Day

GENERAL ADMISSION: $14.50 for ages 1 to 99Free: Members and children younger than one year old; adults 100+ years oldChildren under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult; 18 years or older.Adults are welcome without a child, however we just ask they leave their license/ID with Admissions during their visit.Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Visa, American Express, Discover and MasterCard. Payment by check is permitted only for group or membership payment. REFRESHMENTS IN THE MUSEUM: The Museum has a small Snack Area upon entrance and Sandstone Classroom (first floor) where drink and food vending machines are located. Food and drink are not allowed on the museum floor. We invite you to bring your own lunch and/or snacks and enjoy them in our Snack Areas or outside at Symphony Park.

FOOD TRUCKS: In answer to the requests for “food” at the Museum, we now are participating in the City of Las Vegas’ Mobile Food Vendors program. A map showing participating food trucks and their schedules is available by visiting www.lasvegasnevada.gov/foodtruck.

RACHEL’S KITCHEN: Located just across the parking lot in the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health Courtyard, Rachel’s Kitchen offers healthy, family-friendly favorites. Click here for menu information.
